WBPA Services
The Warren Business & Professional Association
(WBPA) was established in 1995 for the purpose of promoting the businesses
of Warren and to encourage consumers to look within their own community,
and to their fellow neighbors, for all of their business and shopping
needs.

 |
| The WBPA serves to establish
one voice for the hundreds of businesses that exist in Warren, in
becoming a cohesive group to promote the community and its vast array
of retail and professional services. Additionally, the WBPA affords
its members with a networking resource whereby they can form lasting
relationships with fellow businesses collectively promote their common
interests. The Association, in an effort to help its members network
and communicate important issues related to Warren and the business
community, hosts bi-monthly breakfast meetings that are free to members,
as well as open to the general public. |
|
The WBPA also publishes its own community
publication, the Warren Showcase, which is distributed, for free,
five times each year to more than 15,000 residents of Warren and surrounding
towns such as Watchung, Gillette, Green Brook, Martinsville and Long
Hill Township. The Showcase serves to profile many of the WBPA’s
member businesses, as well as provide a wide range of community information,
such as a calendar of events and Township news. The WBPA, through
the Showcase, sponsors an Annual “Front Cover Contest”
for its holiday issue that awards a local elementary student, who
creates the most inspirational holiday cover theme, with a $250 savings
bond.

Another WBPA-sponsored program
is the annual WBPA Directory. Highlighting important contact information
for all WBPA member businesses, the Directory is printed and distributed
free to residents as an insert in the Warren Showcase. It is also
available at WBPA member businesses and is distributed through area
schools. The WBPA Directory is a listing of all members and the products
and/or services they offer, including their address, telephone number
and website address. The Directory serves as an invaluable resource
for residents and businesses to create a link and establish long and
mutually rewarding relationships.

|
With 80 members at inception,
the WBPA today boasts more than 160 members who have committed to
the positive growth and improvement of Warren, and in giving back
to the community and those less fortunate. A non-profit organization,
the WBPA has donated over $60,000 back to the community by supporting
area schools, sports programs, civic groups, fire and rescue squads,
and numerous charitable associations. In fact, the WBPA donates all
profits from the Association, it’s annual WBPA Directory and
the Warren Showcase, back into the community.
