Criteria for Membership
Criteria for membership in the WBPA is any retail or professional which
maintains an office in Warren Township. As a member of the WBPA, you are
asked to contribute $100, which is not a dues payment, but an investment
that puts you into our annual business directory, which is distributed
to tens of thousands of residents in the community. WBPA membership also
affords you the opportunity to advertise in The Warren Showcase,
our own publication that is delivered five times per year to more than
15,000 residents of Warren and surrounding towns. A directory members
and information about The Warren Showcase can be found at this website.
Advertising
A listing in the directory and advertising in The
Warren Showcase, are offered exclusively to WBPA members. Also,
as a WBPA member, you are invited to bi-monthly networking meetings; you
receive WarrenWorks, our monthly newsletter; you get highlighted
at our website, www.wbpa.org, and you are invited to participate in our
Warren Book of Values program. This product is an annual
“Entertainment-style” coupon book filled with discount offerings
from dozens of Warren-based business and professional establishments,
offering residents more than $1,000 in total savings. The coupons are
offered exclusively from Warren businesses that are WBPA members, and
are sold to residents for $20 in a bound book. We do not charge our members
to be part of the Warren Book of Values, we only ask that they donate
a coupon - or up to three if they choose - so we can create a substantial
savings book that will encourage people to shop in Warren and support
our business community.
All of the WBPA programs are designed for the betterment
of our community and our businesses. We must strive to keep the residents
of Warren shopping and doing business within the walls of our town, as
today we are faced with an increase in shopping and business alternatives
from neighboring towns. The WBPA serves as the engine for helping our
members to network - with each other and consumers. It is for this reason
that we hope you will consider joining the WBPA.
If you are interested in joining the WBPA, please print
the application and forward it, along with your $100 fee, to our WBPA
office. For more information on the WBPA contact, Nina Ulloa at 908-226-1563
or by e-mail .
