  From the President:

Welcome to the Warren Business and Professional Association's (WBPA) website. As we begin the WBPA's 8th year of service, it is clear that our dedication to the Warren Community has never been greater. Our more than 170 members have committed to the positive growth and improvement of Warren, and in giving back to the community and those less fortunate. Since our inception in 1995, our membership has more than doubled, while our donations have soared to over $60,000, which has gone right back to the community to support our area schools, sports programs, civic groups, fire and rescue squads, and numerous charitable associations. In fact, all of our profits, year in and year out, go right back into the community.

“Warren Book of Values" Has Arrived
The WBPA is pleased to unveil the 2003 Warren Book of Values, a coupon book that offers area residents more than $1,000 in discounts from retail and professional businesses based exclusively in Warren. The book, which costs $20, was created as a result of WBPA members donating coupons that will provide discounts on goods and services. The book will encourage Warren residents to support the Warren business community while raising money for worthy charities, groups and organizations.

The Warren Book of Values is serving as a fundraising vehicle and will be sold through several Warren schools, the Soccer Association and other Warren-based groups and organizations. The WBPA is giving 25 percent from the sale of each book directly back to those participating organizations, while all net profits from the coupon book will go directly back into the Warren community to support local charities, fire and rescue squads, schools, youth sports leagues, civic groups and other local endeavors.

The Warren Book of Values, which features more than 120 coupons that are valid throughout 2003. In an effort to help raise funds for our WBPA charitable endeavors, we are asking every member to purchase at least one book, via the order form or call Nina Ulloa at (908)226-1563 or (732)469-5700. What would help our Association more is for our members to purchase 5, 10, 20 or more books and sell them back to employees, friends, customers, etc. Remember, all profits from book sales go right back into the community. If you choose to purchase multiple books, we will work with you to donate 25% of the proceeds to a charity of your choice. Thanks for your support.

WBPA Unveils 2003 Member Directory
Directory 2003, the official membership directory of the WBPA, is now in print and was recently issued to more than 15,000 residents of Warren, Watchung, Martinsville, Stirling, Gillette and Green Brook, via the February issue of The Warren Showcase. In the coming weeks, the WBPA’s marketing team will be personally delivering a stack of directories, along with a directory holder, to your place of business. We hope that you will display the directories in your office or retail establishment and encourage people to take one and use it as a resource for all of their business and professional needs in Warren. Enclosed is a sample directory!
