The 2006 Holiday Walk A Major Success The 2006 Holiday Walk held on Sunday, December 3rd proved once again to be a huge success. The beautiful winter weather contributed to the large turn out of town residents and visitors from the surrounding area. With over 1,000 people in attendance a fun day was had by all. With the help of the Washington Valley Fire Department, the Watchung Hills Regional High School Band and the Warren Police Department, Santa led the parade through the center of town. The event which included a petting zoo with pony rides, Frosty the Snowman, Dora the Explorer, the Watchung Hills Dance Team, Drill Team and Santa and his elves brought young and old together to kick off the “Holiday Season”. The Warren Showcase Announces New Marketing Programs Warren, NJ, May 2006 … The Warren Business & Professional Association, publisher of The Warren Showcase and the only association dedicated exclusively to Warren-based businesses, today announced a series of new marketing programs designed to enhance the exposure and audience reach for its advertisers in the publication. A publication exclusive to the Warren-business community, and which only accepts outside advertising from non-compete businesses, The Warren Showcase will now be distributed five times each year to 20,000 residents in Warren, Watchung, Basking Ridge, Stirling, Gillette, Green Brook and Martinsville. In fact, The Warren Showcase is the only publication of its kind to be distributed to such a large audience on a consistent basis. The WBPA has also announced that the Warren Showcase will be distributed via vendor newspaper boxes placed strategically at high traffic locations throughout Warren. Moreover, the WBPA has also begun distribution of the Warren Showcase to the more than 800 businesses based in Warren. The expanded marketing efforts for the Warren Showcase are designed to enhance the investment of advertisers and provide maximum audience reach, among area residents and businesses. It is further designed to continue the WBPA’s longstanding mission of promoting Warren and to keep people shopping and conducting their business within the town. In addition, the WBPA now provides its members with an array of free editorial opportunities in several of its communication vehicles, including The Warren Showcase, the Community Chatter insert of The Warren Showcase. “There is simply no advertising or news publication in the community that is dedicated exclusively to Warren-based businesses, and which reaches the breadth of readers as the Warren Showcase,” said Walter Roth, President, Warren Business & Professional Association. “Our members can now communicate their advertising and promotional messages in a number of mediums to both consumers and business owners.”
